It’s finally here! I have been excitedly anticipating the launch of Anastasia Beverly Hill’s Limited Edition Illuminators ever since I saw a sneak peak of it posted on Instagram. Though she first gained notoriety and recognition from her popular range of brow products, she has since extended her brand to offer a full range of products including eyeshadow palettes, contour kits and the addition of her ever popular liquid lipsticks. I have been a fan of her products for several years and this new release is nothing short of Ah-mazing! I purchased three of the colors that were available the first day of its release online. The product is officially described as a “powder highlighter that delivers a natural, luminizing glow.” Scroll below for my picks.
Starlight-A sheer, luminescent white that flatters all skin tones.
So Hollywood-A shimmery bronze hue that flatters deeper skin tones.
Riviera-A sunkissed coppery hue that flatters medium to tan skin tones.
I purchased all illuminators with the exception of Peach Nectar since I read that it’s a warm rose gold that flatters light skin tones. My skin tone is medium with yellow undertones. For reference, I am NW 35 in MAC and No. 40 in Chanel Les Beiges.
The colors are all completely gorgeous as you can see from above. Upon unboxing each illuminator, I literally squealed with glee! The texture of the powders are very silky and with each swipe, I was completely impressed with how much pigment I picked up. The color saturation is simply amazing! It blends effortlessly on the high points of my cheekbones. I even tried Starlight as a highlight underneath my brow bone. Gorg! I have been on quite a bit of a highlight craze this past summer with the purchase of other limited edition releases such as Jaclyn Hill’s Champagne Pop and my recent purchase of Tom Ford’s Skin Illuminating Moodlight Duo. These illuminators are a welcome addition to my Beauty Stash and I can’t wait to include them in my makeup rotation!
