I have a confession to make. I can’t seem to manage my compulsive inclination to buy lip products. Each liquid lipstick is on par in terms of the quality and performance of its full size counterparts. The doe foot applicator allows for easy and smooth application. The creamy, velvety texture quickly transforms to an opaque, matte finish. The color is vibrant and long lasting. It stays put and does not transfer while eating or drinking. It lasted on me for a good 6 hours. It does not bleed; however, I have noticed that it tends to settle a bit into fine lines and can feel a bit drying after hours of wear. I would recommend proper exfoliation and a hydrating primer before application to maximize its longevity and comfort.
Bottom line, I would recommend this set based on its great value and the range of colors offered. It offers a varied selection from berries to reds to nudes. Even some of the colors that I wouldn’t typically wear often such as Como (bright violet) is fun to experiment with and can be mixed to achieve a custom color application. This is also a great way for you try also try different colors before you commit to purchasing a full sized version. Overall, these liquid lip stains offer full-coverage, and a matte finish that holds tight for up to six hours. It’s yet another value set that is a welcome addition to my beauty stash.
