The holidays are upon us, and it’s time to find that perfect holiday red. When deciding on a color, it may be difficult to figure out what shade of red suits you best. Should you go cooler or warmer? What color will best compliment your undertones? Look no further, Marc Jacobs Beauty’s range of Le Marc Lip Cremes* makes it easy for you to find the right shade that will not only complement your skin tone, but your hair too.
The formula is incredible. The Le Marc lipsticks are richly pigmented, long lasting and provide great saturation with one swipe. In addition, the texture is smooth and creamy and glides on easily with no tugging. It’s not only beautifully pigmented, but the formula provides opaque coverage that is long lasting. I’ve worn a range of colors from their line and on me, the formula lasts throughout the day with minimal transferring after eating and/or drinking. An added benefit is that it is non- sticky and non-drying, and provides hours of comfortable wear thanks to hydrating and nourishing ingredients such as antioxidant-rich seaberry, meranti, and cocoa butter. My lips felt moisturized and hydrated throughout its wear. Scroll below for shade recommendations, based on your skin tone and type.

A classic red lip never goes out of style. It can really complement your features when you select the perfect shade. I have warm undertones and brunette hair, and the colors Goddess and Blow suit me very well. I love that Blow is a deeper variation of red that I can use depending on my makeup mood of the day. It’s such a beautiful, rich color that I have come to enjoy using. Each Le Marc Lip Creme retails for $30 and comes in a luxurious, black lacquered tube with a magnetic snap closure. If you are interested in trying it out, I would highly recommend picking up the recently released The Sofia Petit Le Marc Collection, which contains five deluxe size best selling shades housed in a black patent leather pouch for $45. You can find swatches on my recent review of them here.
