DIY Holiday Beauty Gift Idea

The countdown to Christmas has officially begun! Shopping for so many people can be a daunting task, especially when trying to stay within a reasonable budget. One solution to that dilemma is handcrafting your own thoughtful gift(s). One thing that I enjoy doing every year is crafting my very own DIY mason jar filled with all things beauty for my friends. Today I’d like to share this as a gift idea. If you are still scurrying around doing last minute shopping, I can assure you that this took me less than 20 minutes to put together once I had all the items I needed. I hope that you can draw some inspiration from this post. Kindly scroll below for details.

1. Mason Jars-These were purchased from Target, $3 for a pack of two.

2. Decorative Glitter balls (or anything similar) The ones pictured in the first image were purchased from Michaels. A 58 piece bag retails for $4.99.

3. Mini Decorative Ornaments (Pictured above) These are perfect for the finishing touch. I also purchased these from Michaels, $3.99 for a pack of 4.

4. Any deluxe sized beauty items or stocking stuffer items you would like to include.

Each year, I try to include an eclectic mix of beauty items from the skincare, makeup, and fragrance category. Many of these items were purchased from Sephora, while some items were purchased at other retailers such as Ulta and Target. One item that I purchased this year to include is the Too Faced Melted Kisses & Sweet Cheeks set, $36. It contains three deluxe Melted Lipsticks and three coordinating deluxe Love Flush blushes. They were individually boxed so gifting is made easy. I also recently have come to love Nugg Face Masks, so I found them at Target to gift to my friends. They are absolutely amazing and at under $4 each, the price is right. Once I had all the pieces together, I slowly started to fill each jar with beauty items and strategically placed the decorative fillers inside to hide its contents. Pictured below is the finished product, which took me less than 20 minutes to complete.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope that you enjoyed reading this post and found some inspiration while at it. Happy Holidays!
