Recently, I was introduced to Wander Beauty, a travel- inspired, luxury color cosmetics line. The line is known for its high quality multi-taskers and was developed and inspired by the tips and tricks that makeup artists often use backstage on the models that grace the runway. This line is known for its high quality multi-taskers and I was able to put two items to the test: the Exquisite Liquid Eyeshadow* and the Up Close Kiss Lipstick.* Kindly scroll below for product details, swatches, and my impressions.
First up is the Exquisite Liquid Eyeshadow in the color Bronze that can be used as an eyeliner, an eyeshadow or layered for a beautiful range of day to night looks. This comes in a doe-shaped applicator which I truly appreciated because it made the application a breeze. To apply it, I dabbed a few dots on the center of my lids and used a small eyeshadow brush to blend though you can also use your fingers. The formula is easy to blend and work with. It adds a delightfully lustrous wash of color on my lids without being overly shimmery. I’ve also added it on top of some of the shadows that I’ve used and it adds a beautiful sheen and does not crease throughout the day and stays put. The tube is a perfect size for my makeup bag and is great for days when I need some color on my lids, stat.
Next up is the Up Close Kiss Lipstick in the color Rose which I would describe as a warm pink. This lipstick glides on beautifully and is creamy and moisturizing thanks to its coconut oil and vitamin infused formula. It doesn’t tug, and brings a beautiful wash of color on the lips. On my lips, it feels very lightweight and sits comfortably on my lips for a good 4-5 hours. Though it is not extremely opaque, the color is buildable. It’s a very flattering pink that I think can be suitable for most, if not all skin tones. It’s also very chic and compact, perfect for tossing in your bag on-the-go and reapplying as needed. Wander Beauty’s Exquisite Liquid Eyeshadow and Up Close Kiss Lipstick are wonderful additions to my beauty stash and I look forward to putting them in my current makeup rotation, especially on the days that I need to be out the door, and look put together in a jiffy.
