Christian Louboutin Beaute recently released two versions of the Hawaii Kawai Limited Edition Nail Colour Coffrets for Spring 2016 ($90) Each version contains three miniature nail colors enclosed in a beautiful keepsake box decorated with colourful prints. Each set features 3 colors that are best sellers from their permanent nail color range. I recently purchased the Hawaii Kawaii Set I on a recent trip I made to Sephora. Today I’d like to share more detailed images of the collection as well as a closer look at the color I’m currently wearing at the moment–Prive. Kindly scroll below for more details.
Each coffret contains 3 minature nail colors enclosed in a beautiful keepsake box decorated with floral prints. The box opens up to a red felt cover inside. So luxe! Once opened, each nail polish is securely in place. A small red ribbon at the base of each nail polish helps you pull it out.

I am currently wearing Very Prive. It’s a beautiful red wine color that was perfect and suitable to wear recently for Valentine’s Day weekend.
Very Prive is a beautiful variation of red that provides beautiful opaque coverage. It goes on smoothly and initially looks more red until a second coat is applied. It is such a gorgeous deep wine color! In the sunlight, it does appear more red. (pictured above) I have worn the color for 8 days straight now, and the color is long lasting. I have not experienced any chipping whatsoever.

Bottom line, this is a beautiful, luxurious limited edition set that that has an assortment of Christian Louboutin’s best selling nail color shades. I have a few colors from the regular collection and do not own any of the shades contained in this set, so this was a steal for me. It is rather pricy at $90 for each set, however the quality, performance and packaging truly is phenomenal. I look forward to wearing the other two shades this spring.
The Christian Louboutin Hawaii Kawaii sets are currently available at select Sephora locations or online, and at Nieman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue stores.
