Estee Lauder Summer Goddess Collection 2016: Summer Glow Multi Palette Review and Swatches

As the temperatures start to rise here in Southern California, and my Spring Break nears, I dream of some relaxing “me time”, feeling the cool ocean breeze, and achieving perfectly glowing, sun-kissed radiant skin. Enter in Estee Lauder’s new Summer Glow Multi Palette, which includes three brilliant shades for the face, eyes and cheeks. This gorgeously textured limited edition piece is the star of their Summer collection and today I will be sharing a closer look, swatches as well as the bottom line.

It includes three shades for highlight, blush, and contour. You can use each shade on its own to sculpt and define or blend the shades together for a customizable finish. It comes in beautiful gold packaging and conveniently houses a sizable mirror, making it compact and completely travel-friendly.

The illuminating and bronzer shades come in equally sized proportions, while the blush takes center stage in this palette. The texture of each shade is soft, finely milled, and pigmented. You can layer each shade to your desired opacity and intensity. When mixed together, you get a beautifully harmonious blend of colors.

For application, I use a small angled brush to sculpt, define and bring all over radiance and luminosity to my face. The bronzer shade helps me to softly contour my cheekbones, while the blush shade layered on the apples of my cheeks helps to provide a beautiful wash of color. I can easily sweep the highlighting shade towards the center of my nose, forehead and chin and it gives just the right amount of illumination, subtle enough for everyday, yet buildable for the ultimate strobing effect.

Bottom line, the Estee Lauder Summer Glow Multi-palette is certainly the star of the Summer Goddess Collection. The shades are beautifully pigmented and versatile. You can achieve a perfectly radiant sun-kissed look during the day that can easily transition beautifully into the night. In addition, The palette is perfectly compact and great for travel. If you are unsure where you should begin with this collection, I would highly recommend you start with this palette.

The Summer Glow Multi Palette retails for $50 and you can find it here.

Thanks for stopping by today. Are you planning on picking anything up?
