Perhaps the most anticipated item of Too Faced’s Summer 2016 collection is the Sweet Peach Eyeshadow Palette, $49 which not only comes in the most adorable packaging but also smells like candied peach perfection. After attempting to purchase the palette the first day of its launch online, I had a second go round with its limited release on Too Faced’s website last Monday. I was luckily able to secure an order for the palette before it sold out once again online. The palette contains a gorgeous confection of 18 matte and shimmer shades as well as their signature step-by-step Glamour Guide to take the guesswork out of getting started. I literally squealed with delight upon opening the box. The packaging is absolutely adorable, and features an ombre tin case with raised patterns of peaches. Today I will be sharing some product details and images along with my first impressions. Kindly scroll below.

The Packaging:
Much like the packaging of previously released palettes from their line, the palette is packaged in a tin case. The Sweet Peach Palette contains raised patterns of vivid peaches on its exterior complete with a beautiful gradient ombre colored effect of peach shades ranging from light to dark. Once opened, there is a sizable mirror with Too Faced’s logo prominently etched in the center.

- Caramelized (dark gilded bronze)
- Puree (metallic dark bronze)
- Summer Yum (matte gingerbread)
- Talk Derby to Me (shimmering black violet)
Quality & Pigmentation:
The shadows are on par with the quality you would expect from their eyeshadow palettes, the shadows contained in this palette are spectacularly pigmented and the textures of the shadows are very soft and silky. The swatches below were done with a single swipe. I am in love with the beautiful mix of wearable warm shades and the variety of matte and shimmer shades contained in the palette. There exists a beautiful balance of cool and warm shades that can take you from day to night. I’m particularly enamored with the shades Lucious, Summer Yum, Just Peachy and Talk Derby to Me which I anticipate using quite often. Swatches to follow below.

Thoughts and First Impressions:
Quite possibly, this may be one of the best palettes Too Faced has released to date. I own many palettes from their permanent collection, including all the palettes from the Chocolate Bar range and I can’t get over how a) adorable the packaging is, b) the shade selection; which I think is suitable for all skin tones, and c) the heavenly intoxicating peach scent. I find myself picking it up and taking a whiff of it more times now than I can count. I am definitely going to put this palette to good use this Spring and Summer and I will be picking up a backup for good measure since it’s limited edition.
