March 2016 Beauty Favorites

Another month has quickly come and gone. March is always an exciting month as new Spring and Summer releases start to make their way to stores— I’m looking at you Tom Ford— and the warmer weather certainly reflects the type of colors I begin to choose from my makeup stash. This month I’ve been particularly loving warm coral hues on my cheeks and lips. My March favorites includes some recent beauty releases as well as a few favorites I’ve had in my rotation for quite some time.

Too Faced Peanut Butter and Jelly Palette

This was one of my most used palettes this month, reviewed here. The shades are incredibly pigmented. The palette contains very wearable shades of warm mattes and shimmers that can take you from day to night. And it smells just like peanut butter. Love!

Jouer Long Wear Lip Creme Liquid Lipstick

These are hands down one of the most comfortable liquid lipstick formulas I’ve worn and if you’ve read some of my previous posts, you know I’ve tried quite a bit. My favorite colors this month were Fraimboise, a matte warm deep pink and Petale de Rose though I really like them all! All 16 shades reviewed here.

Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Lost Cherry

I’ve really been loving warm coral tones for lips this month and this lipstick is so wonderfully pigmented, creamy and glides on effortlessly, leaving me with beautiful, long lasting color on the lips.

Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess Summer Glow Multi-palette

This perfectly compact and portable palette is a great travel companion. It contains a highlighter, blush and bronzer all in one, making it ideal to carry in your makeup bag. I love the sun-kissed radiance I can achieve with a few strokes of my brush. Reviewed here.

Makeup Forever Pro Sculpting Palette #30

This recent beauty discovery is truly phenomenal. You get a highlight, contour, blush and shimmer all -in -one. The colors blend beautifully onto my skin and takes the guess work out of picking the right shades as each palette is designed to tailor to a specific skin tone range. I use palette #30 which suits my golden medium skin tone perfectly.

Urban Decay Color Correcting Fluid-Peach

On trend for Spring 2016 is the ubiquitous presence of Color Correcting animations. I recently picked up Urban Decay’s correcting fluid in the color peach which helps to combat the presence of dark spots. It is smooth, creamy and lightweight, much like their regular line of concealers. It immediately brightens underneath my eye area and it provides all day crease free wear–a major plus. Reviewed here.

I’m looking forward to adding more items in my rotation as the weather heats up. What are your monthly favorites?
