Olivia Palermo x Ciate London Smokey Suedes Eye Palette and Liquid Velvet Moisturizing Matte Liquid Lipstick in Pin Up

Hello! Today I am going to talk about a couple of items from Ciate London that have been used heavily on my rotation.  My first introduction to the line started with my purchase of their holiday nail polishes a few years ago. Since then, Ciate has launched their color collection at Sephora. The first item I picked up is the Olivia Palermo X Ciate London Smokey Suedes Eye Palette, a set of curated shadows from Olivia Palermo’s role as Guest Creative Director for the brand.

First, the packaging is absolutely divine, and features a luxurious black and gold motif.  It’s chic and perfectly compact for travel. The eyeshadow palette is officially described as “fabric -inspired suede like” shadows. Simply stunning, it features nine beautiful hues in a range of both mattes and shimmers.

In terms of texture and pigmentation, the shadows are soft, silky and easy to blend. The colors are so versatile and easy to work with. I love that it includes a nice mix of neutral, metallic, and matte shades. With a variety of tones and textures, I’ve found it easy to pull off looks that easily transition from day to night. Colors and swatches to follow below.

Smokey Suedes Eyeshadow Palette Colors:

Shaken (pearl gold shimmer)

Glazed (pearl bronze/red shimmer)

Butler (matte bone)

Prosecco (pearl ivory shimmer)

Plumberry (matte aubergine)

Verde (pearl bright olive)

Whoopie Pie (matte deep brown)

Cocoa (pearl bronze shimmer)

Macchiato (matte mid-pink brown

The second item I picked up is their new Liquid Velvet Moisturizing Matte Liquid Lipstick in the color Pin Up which is officially described as a universally flattering berry. It features a doe foot applicator with a precise tip that allows for smooth application. The wand is neither too short or too long which I find helps to apply the color with ease.  Pin Up is an extremely rich, beautiful lip color that looks so flattering against my medium golden skin. I was very impressed with the color saturation I achieved with one swipe. The texture is creamy and non drying thanks to a blend of moisturizing lip ingredients such as hyaluronic acid. It dries down to a soft velvety matte finish which lasts for a good 6 hours on me. My lips feel soft and supple, and they are enveloped in a beautiful warm berry shade that I find absolutely gorgeous.

I am very impressed with my first introduction to Ciate London makeup products. Since then, I have also purchased the Cheekbone Cheat Blusher and hope to report on it at a later time. These items are still currently available online at Sephora. You can find it here.

Thank you for stopping by today. Are you planning on picking anything up?
