Today I’m excited to share with you my review for one of the new Pur Cosmetics Strobe/Highlight Palettes* that recently launched this Spring as well as my first ever giveaway hosted on my blog. I have the palette in the shade Sunkissed Glow and I have an extra one to giveaway to one of you since I purchased one last March at the Makeup Show LA. Highlighting is, undoubtedly, one of the makeup trends of the year. Every brand seems to be launching new glow products or highlighters centered around achieving luminous, dewy skin. Pur Cosmetics is no exception with the release of their new Strobe/Highlighter palettes. There are two variations available, their Moonlight Glow Strobe palette and their Sun-Kissed Glow palette which I will be reviewing today.
The palette comes with three coordinating shades of highlighters with a cream to powder finish. They have a silky cream texture that glides on effortlessly and beautifully and can be easily applied with your fingers or a small brush. The cream texture blends nicely and quickly transforms to a powdery finish that does not transfer or budge. You can build it up to your desired intensity. It helps me to instantly achieve a beautiful, luminous complexion and the shade range in this particular palette suits my skin tone very well.
The shades included in the Sun-Kissed Glow palette:
Aurora- Champagne shimmer
Solar- peachy golden shimmer
Dusk- bronze golden shimmer
My favorite color in this palette is Aurora. It suits my medium golden complexion beautifully. The colors can be blended together to your liking. I think this palette would work for those in the medium-deep skin tone range while the other variation, Moonlight Glow would suit more fair-light skin tones. The palette is exceptionally beautiful and effortlessly helps to create instant luminosity to the skin.
