Today I wanted to pop in and share a recent beauty discovery from a new, luxury haircare brand called Cuvee Beauty. I had an opportunity to test out their line of shampoo*, conditioner*, and styling balm* and after using it for a couple of weeks, I’m here to share with you my thoughts.
About Cuvee Beauty:
“Cuvée formulas are ecologically friendly and were developed without harsh chemicals. They are free of sulfates, parabens, and phthalates, and safe for all hair types including chemically treated. Our premium grade, high efficacy ingredients are sourced from around the world and our distinctive scent was crafted by a renowned fragrance house headquartered in Grasse, France. Cuvée is always made in small batches for the ultimate experience in high efficacy products – and always within the spirit and essence of our name Cuvée. “
The first thing that I immediately noticed is the intoxicating champagne scent. It smells absolutely amazing and in my case, boyfriend approved. My boyfriend had asked if I was wearing a new perfume. It’s one of those delicious lingering scents that draws you in with one whiff.
In terms of packaging, it is packaged simply in navy blue and white packaging which gives it a clean look and feel. A blue band with white lettering around the cap of each bottle clearly labels each product. Each bottle also features a pump top for easy dispensing.
For reference, my hair is dry and naturally curly, however I often use styling tools to straighten my hair on an an almost daily basis which means worn and tired tresses. The shampoo and conditioner combo work well in tandem with one another leaving my hair feeling clean, soft, and ready for the styling that follows. Cuvee Beauty contains what they call their proprietary Cuvee ComplexTM, a unique blend of champagne, white truffle, and platinum ferment extracts combined with resveratrol, ceramides, plant protein and botanicals to immediately nourish, strengthen, and protect the hair.
Overall, I am pleased with my first introduction to their line of products which offer a range of beneficial ingredients for the hair. My first impressions are good. Though it’s too early to give you definitive results, from the sampling I’ve tried, my hair has responded well. I consider it a wonderfully luxurious treat for the hair.
