The Limited-edition set includes:
5 deluxe Tarteist creamy matte lip paints in:
Bae (red), Fab (deep nude), Fomo (mauve), Inspo (raspberry), Chill (deep berry)
The lip paints are housed in very simple packaging featuring a black twist off cap with gold embossed lettering on the front of the tube. The formula also includes mineral pigments and vitamins A, C, and E.
The Limited-edition set also includes:
5 deluxe Tarteist lip crayons in:
Thirsty (red), Vibes (deep berry), Queen (raspberry) Rage (mauve), and Meme (deep nude)
Each deluxe -sized coordinating lip crayon comes in a skinny twist-up pencil featuring a pull-off cap. A word of caution: The pencil is very thin, which is great for precision but beware of twisting up too much as it can break off the tip if you’re not careful. The coordinating shades along with shade names to follow below.
The back of the box includes a small square where you can write the name of the gift recipient.
In terms of formula, the lip paints have the same mousse like consistency as its full size counterpart. It feels very whipped in texture and has a slightly noticeable mint like fragrance. The soft, slanted applicator wand makes it easy to apply. If you’re looking for a liquid lipstick formula that is not drying, these are worth looking into. See my full review on a previous post here.
With a wide variety of shades available, the kit would make a great gift for any makeup lover, however, it is also a neat way for you to try out the shades they have available before purchasing a lip paint or lip pencil in full size. Additionally, you can also break the kit apart into five coordinating combos to use as stocking stuffers for your friends and family.
