One thing that I look forward to every holiday season is Tarte’s limited edition blush palette. I pick one up every year, because it’s such an incredible value. You can see previous releases in a blog post I wrote here. This year’s limited edition palette is called the Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush Color Wheel. It retails for $44 USD and is a double-sided cheek palette that features 10 blush and highlight shades. All the limited edition holiday blush palettes they’ve released to date only feature 5 pans of blush and or highlighter so I’m thrilled that this year’s edition features 10 shades in cute art deco print packaging which is part of their Works of Tarte holiday collection.

Color your way to the perfect glow with this custom blush and highlighter palette. It features 10 deluxe, limited-edition blushes in mattes, lusters, and two micro-pearlescent highlighters—all in one complexion-enhancing palette. With its dual-sided design, it curates five warm and five cool shades so you can mix and match with your cheek wardrobe to create the perfect, custom look. The neutral and bold, universal shades spotlight a variety of complexions with a built-in cover for mess-free portability. Powered by tarte’s long-wearing Amazonian clay, the iconic, bestselling formula balances and replenishes skin for 12 hours of fade-free, ultra-pigmented wear.
The colors are housed within beautiful gold, lavender, and purple packaging that coincide with Tarte’s Works of Tarte holiday theme.

I have come to love the performance, longevity, and range of colors offered in the Tarte blush palettes. Plus, it’s such a great value. Here, you get 10 blushes (0.84 oz) for $44 dollars. In comparison, each full size blush (0.2oz) retails for $28 each. All of the shades swatched beautifully with minimal power kick up. With ten shades featuring both cool and warm shades, it suits a wide variety of skin tones and allows you to mix and match for a customized flush of color on the cheeks. The palette is also compact, portable, and travel friendly and I look forward to putting it in my rotation.
