Pur Cosmetics recently released the HydraFluid Water Serum Foundation*, now available at Kohl's and Ulta stores. The foundation captures the top beauty spring for Spring 2016---hydration and offers skin-quenching ingredients in addition to makeup performance. Now that it's starting to heat up here in California, I usually opt for a lighter base. It's already starting to feel more like summer than Spring here. The foundation is available in 5 shades: Light, Medium, Tan, Dark, and Deep. It contains PUR's encapsulated water-complex and helps to hydrate the skin while providing lightweight, yet medium coverage.
The Key Ingredients & Benefits:
Encapsulated water complex- Utilizes phospholipids to deliver the purest water sourced from the Swiss Alps deep into the skin for long-lasting hydration.
Ceretin Complex- Helps smooth, firm, and lift the skin's appearance.
Vitamin E- Helps soothe skin and provides antioxidant benefits.
Swatches from Top to Bottom: Light, Medium, Tan, Dark, and Deep
The foundation is contained in a squeeze tube that dispenses easily. One word of caution is to squeeze gently so that you don't end up wasting product. I am in the color medium which works for my medium golden skin tone. During my first trial run, I used a small foundation brush to apply the foundation and I buffed it on my skin using a circular motion. It blended easily and evenly and provided lightweight coverage. The consistency and formula feels very similar to that of a BB cream in my opinion. Though the coverage was lightweight it provided the perfect amount of coverage to even out my skin tone and it is completely buildable. The finish I achieved wore well throughout the day. My skin looked smooth and radiant, and I am quite pleased with my first introduction the Hydra Fluid Serum foundation.
