The latest launch from Giorgio Armani Beauty is their new Lip Magnets, $38 each for 3.9 ml/.13 fl oz) These are matte liquid lipsticks that combine long lasting wear, a thin texture with bold color payoff and comfort. One thing that I love about the brand is its commitment to developing innovative formulas and there is a lot to love with this new launch. There are a total of eighteen shades available in four color families: Corals, Reds, Pinks and Plums. I am excited to share with you six colors from the range today.
The Lip Magnets are housed in the cutest packaging that fits in the palm of your hand. It comes in short tubes that display the color within, featuring a red cap, much like their Lip Maestros, reviewed here, and a high precision applicator unlike anything I’ve seen before. The pointed sponge tip allows you to line and fill your lips beautifully with control and precision.
The Shades:
504 NUDA – coral pink
503 GLOW – reddish peach
402 FIL ROUGE – warm red
507 GARCONNE – mauve berry
403 VIBRATO – rich brick red
601 ATTITUDE – purple mauve
They have the most incredible formula and texture. They are lightweight, apply wet initially but dry down an incredibly comfortable matte finish that is never drying. According to Armani this is what they call a “gradual evaporation” phenomenon and this is accurate. The color may appear more sheer when first applied but settles down to reveal beautiful concentrated color pigment! I am also impressed with its longevity. They are indeed long lasting and never budge nor migrate and stay put. My lips feel incredibly hydrated and it almost feels like I have nothing on thanks to the formulation, which is described as four times thinner than a liquid lip color.
If you are looking for a liquid lipstick that is long lasting, provides incredible color pay off along with weightless comfortable wear, this is something definitely worth trying, especially if you like bold color saturation and intensity.
