Another item I picked up from the Sephora Vib Rouge Sale was The Huda Beauty Textured Shadows Palette. The palette first launched in October and I held off on purchasing it since I knew it was coming to Sephora the following month. This limited edition palette is created by beauty guru Huda Kattan featuring a curated set of matte, chrome pressed pearls, and 3D metal shadows. I am a fan of her range of products, specifically her lash line and liquid lipsticks, recently reviewed here, and I could not pass up this palette, especially since I was able to apply the 20% off VIB Rouge sale coupon towards it. I have had the palette in my rotation for the past two weeks and today I have swatches and my review to share with you today.

Beauty guru and entrepreneur Huda Kattan blends her makeup expertise and with her debut Eyeshadow Palette - Rose Gold Edition. Raising the bar with her unique eye shades, she’s created a palette of highly saturated mattes, chrome pressed pearls, and 3D metal shadows. Easily buildable, the shades deliver maximum payoff for easy on-the-go, or bold metallic and smoky looks. Consider it an accessory for your eyes, no matter what the mood or occasion. An ode to Huda’s favorite metallic, the sophisticated Rose Gold, this exclusive, timeless collection will be your next go-to palette.
The palette’s versatility allows you to create endless eye makeup variations. Amp up your look by topping it off with one of the 3D metals to give the eyes an incomparable pop.

The palette has a really gorgeous range of neutral and warm earthy tones that I was particularly drawn too. I also think the pressed pearls and 3D metal shades are phenomenal. They have a very creamy, and thick texture that produced intense pigment with one swipe. It is recommended that these shadows be applied with a finger rather than a brush, and this is accurate. I did try to use a small synthetic brush and it picked up little to no pigment. When using my fingers, it was a completely different story. The matte shades, however did not swatch very well initially, and I wondered how this would translate when applied onto my lids. The shadows appear to be bolder in the pan than when applied with a brush. They apply evenly and blend well, however I think the pigmentation on the matte shadows are decent and not particularly stellar. I found that using a primer such as the one by Urban Decay helped to intensify the shadows and I was able to get about 6 hours of wear with the shades in this palette. Below you will see swatches with one swipe of the my finger taken in direct sunlight.
I truly love the metallic 3D shades. They have a creamy texture that layer beautifully onto the lids and give it that extra sparkle. Fling, Rose Gold and Trust Fund are my favorites. With a total of 18 shades, there is a lot potential with this palette, you can go soft and subtle or bold and smoky. I do love the earthy shades because they are work appropriate tones that I could use on an everyday basis. All in all, it's a limited edition piece that I think is worth a try. I wouldn't sit on it because it's a limited edition piece that will sell fast!
