Too Faced White Chocolate Chip Swatches and First Impressions

I can’t believe that it’s December already. Things are really starting to move at a more frenzied pace with all that this busy time of the year brings. There are so many things I want to review, and time has only been the only limitation. I do have a three week break on the horizon so I hope too be able to write more. With that being said, today I bring you swatches and my first impressions of the Too Faced White Chocolate Chip Palette. The palette was an online exclusive released on Cyber Monday at Sephora and I ordered it during the early access link I received for VIB Rouge cardholders. I had a feeling that it would sell out quickly, and sure enough it did. It’s an adorable extension of their popular Chocolate Bar palettes. Here, we have the White Chocolate Chip palette, which is a travel size companion that fits perfectly in the palm of your hand.

Priced at $26, the White Chocolate Chip Palette features 11 antioxidant-rich, cocoa powder infused shades with their signature chocolate scent. The shades include shimmering pastels, creamy nudes, along with a pop of black.

The exterior packaging is much like the other Chocolate Bar Palettes, with squares reminiscent of an actual bar of chocolate. I also purchased the Matte Chocolate Chip Palette that I will feature in a separate post. It’s a little bit bigger than the size of a credit card and has a sizable mirror that comes along with it, which is truly adorable to behold in my opinion.

The Shades:

Glaze

Ambrosia

Exotica

Pearl Candy

Raspberry Rose

Indulge

Guilt Free

Cake Batter

Cookie Dough

Sugared Raisin

Black Sugar

The colors contained in this palette are mostly cool tones. I felt that some of the colors appeared very sheer on my medium golden skin, and though I do like the pretty shimmering pastels for a pop of sparkle on the eyelids, I do not think that every shade worked for me. My affinity for warm toned shadows continue to remain strong. Swatches to follow below on my medium NW 35 Skintone.

If you like cool toned pastel colors, then this palette will definitely work for you. It still has some beautiful shades that work for me contained within, so I will still be keeping this palette. First impressions, I think I will make most use of the nude shades and that pop of black. I will report with my final thoughts when I’ve had more time to play with the palette.

The White Chocolate Chip Palette, retailing for $26 will make a return once more though I am uncertain of the actual date. I plan on updating this post as soon as I find out. You can sign up to get notifications from their website here.

What are your thoughts?

Thanks for stopping by today.
