I welcomed the adorable Too Faced Matte Chocoloate Chip and White Chocolate Chip palette into my stash a little over two weeks ago. They are adorable pocket sized palettes with a range of colors contained within that are anti-oxidant and cocoa-infused. I initially reviewed the White Chocolate Chip palette here, and today I will share with you my review and swatches of the Matte Chocolate Chip Palette.
Priced at $26 dollars, the palette is an assortment of matte shades, some repromoted matte shades from their popular Chocolate Bar Palette, while some are newer never before seen shades. The palette comes in an adorable pocket size travel friendly compact with a mirror conveniently housed inside. I found that the shades contained within worked much better for me than the White Chocolate Chip Palette. I love rich browns and rustic warm colors, so this was definitely a hit. I felt that the shadows applied smoothly, blended beautifully and lasting power was excellent.
- White Chocolate (Repromote from the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette)
- Matte Gilded Ganache
- Triple Fudge (Repromote from the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette)
- Matte Marzipan
- Semi-Sweet (Repromote from the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette)
- Strawberry Bon Bon (Repromote from the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette)
- Matte Candied Violet
- Matte Hazelnut
- Matte Creme Brulee
- Matte Cherry Cordial
- Matte Champagne Truffle
Just look how gorgeous these tones are. They will work for me day and night, whether I go for a natural more subdued eye or a more dramatic and intense smoky brown. These colors would suit me year round, so this was definitely a Yes in my book. I've been taking this cute sized palette into my makeup bag and its been such a lovely and welcome addition. If you already own the original Chocolate Bar palette then by no means is this a must. It is something though that is too cute to pass up in my opinion. Oh, and it smells like Chocolate!
The palette will relaunch soon, though I am not sure of the exact date. I will update this post as soon as I find out. Meanwhile, you can check out their website here.
Thanks for stopping by today!
