NARS Liquid Blush Orgasm and Torrid Review & Swatches

Nars Liquid Blush Review|

Nars recently released a line of new Liquid Blushes as part of their summer collection along with a three piece Orgasm Collection which includes the new liquid blush formula, an Orgasm lipstick as well as limited edition packaging of their cult favorite blush. One of my first high end blush purchases was Nars’ Orgasm blush.  I remember reading about it being a celebrity favorite and Jennifer Aniston’s go to shade in a magazine and I’ve been a fan of this glowy peachy pink shade ever since. Now I’m not typically a cream or liquid blush type of gal. I prefer powder blushes most of the time,  but this release really intrigued me. I picked up two shades in Orgasm and Torrid to share with you today.

Nars Liquid Blush Torrid Orgasm Review|

The blushes are highly pigmented and may appear intense upon initial application, however it can be sheered out to provide a subtle flush of color on the cheeks. Orgasm is described as a peachy pink with golden shimmer while Torrid is described as a warm coral with golden shimmer. One pump is all I need for my face. I prefer to apply the blush directly with my fingers and blend it out until I reach my desired intensity, however you can also use a brush or sponge. The formula is lightweight and  is infused with monoi and tamanu oils to to help give the blush an effortless and  natural-looking, second-skin finish. You can still apply your powder blush or highlighter on top without it looking cakey. Lasting power is good and I was able to achieve 7 hours of wear. Swatches with a heavy hand to follow below. Note that each swatch is a mere pump and not sheered out.

Bottom line, I am really impressed by the pigmentation, formula, and longevity of the new NARS Liquid Blushes. Torrid is my favorite of the two and suits my medium golden NW 35 skin so beautifully. Liquid blushes can be very tricky sometimes but this makes it so easy. It blends seamlessly, is buildable, and the subtle  glow it imparts is amazing!  I would totally recommend you give it a try.  Nars Liquid Blush Review, swatches, orgasm, torrid|
