Becca Cosmetics launched two palettes in their holiday line up. The Apres Ski Glow Collection includes the Glow Face Palette, $54 and the Eye Lights Palette, $45. Both palettes are limited edition and come in gorgeous winter themed packaging. Today I’ll be sharing my review and swatches of the Glow Face Palette which is all about a luminous, fresh-from-the-slopes glow.
The palette includes three shimmering skin perfector pressed highlighters, one of which is an exclusive shade called Icicle. It also contains a new mineral blush in the shade Winter Berry. Four best selling hues make up the rest of the palette and the pairings and options are endless. I was pleased to see that it also includes my favorite Sunlit Bronzer in the shade Bronzed Bondi, previously reviewed here.
Pictured above: The Apres Ski Glow Face Palette & Eye Lights Palette. Both limited edition for Holiday 2017.
Shades:
Opal-golden opal pearl
Rose Quartz-rosy pearl
Icicle (NEW)-icy prismatic frost with a hint of blue
Luminous Blush in Blushed Copper-metallic copper shimmer
Mineral Blush in Winter Berry (NEW)-natural rosy pink
Sunlit Bronzer in Bronzed Bondi-medium amber
I like how versatile the palette is when it comes to the color combinations. I can use the shimmering skin perfectors in the inner corner of my eyes or to highlight my brow bone and cupid’s bow. One of my favorite shades is Blushed Copper, it’s a combination of rose gold and copper with a hint of shimmer. It’s warm in hue, but quite delicate in color. This can probably work as blush if you’re fair toned, and I love the bronzy hue it imparts. Winter berry is such a pretty rosy pink that gives you a nice just got- out- of- the- gym kinda flush.
The texture of these powders feels the same as the regular Becca Shimmering Skin perfectors. They are extremely smooth and extremely pigmented and I rank their formulas as one of the best on the market. You can build it from sheer to medium for a luminous glow wherever desired. I think this would make a great gift for any beauty junkie. I would also recommend this for someone who has not tried the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfectors. It would be a great way to try a range of colors and it at a great price point. On the other hand, if you already have many of the shades in its full size counterparts then this might not be a must have. However, the palette is truly a nice one to have with two exclusive new shades that are unique and gorgeous. The Sephora Sale for VIB Rouge members is going on right now and I think this would be an opportune time to pick it up.
The Becca Apres Ski Glow Face Palette is currently available online and in store at Sephora, Ulta, Beautylish, and Beccacosmetics.com
