If there is one makeup must have that I cannot live without, it would be concealer. When it comes to hiding dark circles, blemishes, and perfecting my complexion, a well performing concealer is key. Enter in Urban Decay’s new All Nighter Waterproof Full Coverage Concealer, $29, which promises to deliver long lasting, fool proof coverage that stays put from morning to night.
Urban Decay’s All Nighter Waterproof Full-Coverage Concealer has the same exterior packaging as their All Nighter Foundation, reviewed here. It features asymmetrical cutouts that make it very edgy and modern. And just like the All Nighter Liquid foundation, it is intensely pigmented. How does it compare to the Naked Skin Concealer you might ask? It definitely has a thicker consistency. I would say the Naked Skin Concealer is a bit creamier in texture. The All Nighter Concealer provides fuller coverage as well. In fact, UD increased the pigment level by 73%!
The concealer includes a flocked tip applicator that lays down just the right amount of product and is soft enough to use around the delicate eye area. Though it’s ultra-pigmented, it still feels lightweight and blends beautifully on my skin. Thanks to the formula which features light-diffusing pigments it immediately blurs my imperfections for a soft-focus effect. A little truly goes a long way. It helps to immediately cancel out my dark circles and helps to eliminate the redness around my nose area. It provides a soft matte finish that doesn’t feel drying. It holds up so well throughout the day. It doesn’t settle into any fine lines nor does it crease which is truly remarkable. I recently took it with me on a trip. After spending the whole day out in the city, walking out and about amidst the cold and wind, it was still intact 11 hours later!
Bottom line, I would recommend the All Nighter Waterproof Full Coverage Concealer. I am pleased with the formula and staying power. Will it replace my holy grail Urban Decay Weightless Naked Concealer? I think I will alternate between the two depending on the coverage I want to achieve. The concealers are priced at $29 each and are now currently available at Ulta. You can expect to also find them at Sephora and Macy’s soon.
