Today I’m excited to share with you a new product that will be launching very soon at Sephora.com on December 26th–the new NARS Natural Radiant Foundation. The foundation promises a 16- hour fade resistant formula that provides radiance enhanced with skin care benefits.

A foundation with up to 16 hours of lightweight, natural, fade-resistant wear, featuring full-powered radiance to smooth the look of skin.
What does:
NARS’ first 16-hour foundation has a lightweight, breathable, fade-resistant formula and features medium-to-full, buildable coverage in 33 skin-matching shades to fit all skin tones and undertones. The transfer-resistant, sweat-resistant formula stays color-true all day, and continues to look fresh and vibrant, as if it was just applied. This formula features superior blendability for an imperceptible effect that looks natural, like skin. It doesn’t look or feel cakey, heavy, drying, or masking. A unique combination of translucent base with micronized amino acid-coated pigments and mineral tone-balancing powders mimic skin’s tone, fusing with it for the closest match. NARS’ Skin Optimizing Complex—a blend of raspberry, apple, and watermelon extracts—helps support skin’s elastic fibers to smooth and improve skin’s appearance over time for optimal radiance.
The foundation comes packaged in a slim rectangular frosted glass bottle and contains a pump which I found convenient and easy to use. The packaging is not bulky and could easily fit in my makeup bag.
There exists a total of 33 shades in four different color categories: Light, Medium, Medium Dark, and Dark. Color Descriptions and swatches to follow below.

Oslo – fair with pink undertones
Mont Blanc -light with pink undertones
Yukon -light with peach undertones
Gobi-light with yellow undertones
Salzburg-light with golden undertones
Deauville-light with a neutral balance of pink and yellow undertones

So how did the foundation fare? Did it work for me? I am pleased to report that I am very impressed with the coverage, longevity, and overall performance of the foundation. The foundation was easy to blend, and a little truly goes a long way. It immediately evened out my skin tone and felt weightless. One layer is all I need to even out my skin tone, though I can build up the opacity if desired with the end result still looking extremely natural, like second skin. It’s not too matte, nor shiny. It leaves a beautiful luminosity and holds up well through out the day as claimed. I did a before and after on my Instastories on my Instagram account which you can still find in my highlights. I am impressed with how it amazing it still looked after 12 hours. It has great staying power and I did not find the need to retouch. I think I may have found one of my new favorites!
With a range of 33 shades, I think that everyone could possibly find their true match. The NARS Natural Radiant Long Wear Foundation will retail for $49 and will be available online December 26th on Sephora.com.
