The NARS Spring 2018 Color Collection is now available online and in NARS Boutiques. The collection includes all new limited shades in a new liquid blush formula, the return of fan- favorite lip covers in 4 new shades as well as a highlighting blush and two metallic Velvet shadow sticks.
The collection features a spectrum of luminous neutrals and molten accents, with shades that capture the essence of Spring. All products in the collection are limited edition.
I was really excited to see the return of the Lip Covers. The original shade I purchased in Get Dirty from the Under Cover Summer Collection was a favorite of mine, reviewed here. There are a total of 4 shades available in the Spring Collection:
Embrasse Moi Lip Cover-shimmering peach pink
Under Arrest Lip Cover-peach beige
Summer Fire Lip Cover-pink mauve
Hell Gate Lip Cover-black cherry
The lip covers are highly pigmented, creamy, and settle down to a finish with a lustrous sheen. They are described as a formula that is infused with Passion Fruit Seed Oil and Vitamin E which helps to moisturize and protect skin from free radicals and pollution. Hell Gate and Under Arrest are my favorites! They are priced at $28 each.
The collection also includes the Free Soul highlighting blush, $30, which is described as a light shimmering pink. This color is so beautiful for spring and yields just the right amount of color on my cheeks and helps to impart a luminous, healthy flush. I also think it is great to add as a blush topper.
The Liquid Blush in Hot Tin Roof, $30, is a shimmering brick red. It may appear to be very intense upon initial application, however the shade can be sheered out and a little truly goes a long way. I previously picked up two shades-Orgasm and Torrid and you can find my full review here.
Finally, the collection includes two Metallic Velvet Shadow Sticks priced at $29 each:
Frioul Velvet Shadow stick- shimmering light peacock
Galice Velvet Shadow Stick, soft pewter
The Velvet Shadow sticks can be worn alone or with shadows. The formula is smooth and creamy and helps to accent the eyes. The twist up application makes it easy to use and maneuver. Swatches to follow below.
The NARS Spring 2018 Collection has a little bit of everything for the eyes, lips and face. I look forward to wearing it this Spring. My color palette in the Spring tends to be a bit brighter and I love the soft, luminous tones in this collection. It is currently available on their retail site here and will be available February 1st at department and specialty stores such as Nordstrom and Sephora.
Is there anything from the collection on your radar?
