First up is the Too Faced Natural Face Palette. First, lets discuss the exterior packaging. Six gorgeous shades are encased in blush pink lace and gold packaging. The gold heart shaped clasp pulls the compact open. Once opened, six shades  with floral embossing are contained within.

Some benefits of the palette via Too Faced’s website:

  • Infused with hydrating coconut butter for creamy, comfortable wear
  • Velvety-soft powder that feels lightweight, never cakey
  • Buildable payoff for a customized natural glow
  • Complements all skin tones

The Too Faced Natural Face Palette contains multiple finishes in 6 shades:

2 shimmer highlighters:

  • Starlight (frosted pink champagne)
  • Satin Sheets (frosted golden pink)

2 blushes – 1 matte, 1 satin:

  • Pink Wink (pink coral satin)
  • Pink Sand (matte mocha pink)

2 bronzing veils – 1 satin, 1 shimmer:

  • Sunny Honey (warm ginger natural)
  • Tropic Like It’s Hot (spiced terracotta shimmering)

The formula feels so soft and buttery to the touch. It has a light scent that doesn’t transfer from the face from the pan so if you’re sensitive to scents, I suspect that this one won’t be a problem. I adore Pink Sand which is a matte mocha pink. It’s a shade that provides a natural flush—- the kind that I can see myself wearing on the daily. I like that I can also use the shimmer highlighter shades as a blush topper to create a more luminous flush.  Now on to the veils. A veil is like an all over color you can put on your face to provide all over warmth and the two bronzing veils contained within do just that. They provide just the right amount of warmth and depth. On my medium golden skin it’s too light to work as a contour shade,  however that’s what my beloved Chocolate Soleil Bronzer is for. Bottom line, it’s love. All the shades compliment my skin so beautifully and I look forward to creating more looks with this palette.

I picked out two shades of the Natural Nudes Lipstick: Send Nudes and Strip Search. I don’t ordinarily order lipsticks online. I prefer to swatch everything in store and after seeing some swatches on Too Faced’s Instastories I thought these two would be a safe bet. The packaging is as stunning as the face palette.  It reminds me of the MAC Liptensity, except Too Faced took it up a notch with the beautiful floral details on the exterior packaging.

Details from Too Faced’s website:

  • Highly pigmented for intense color payoff
  • Balmy, hydrating texture
  • 10 modern neutral shades
  • 8 hour long-wearing color
  • Bold nude colors infused with our coconut butter complex to help keep lips soft and moisturized
  • A nude shade for every complexion
  • Smells like coconut!

The lipsticks are extremely pigmented! The swatches you see below are one swipe swatches. They have a nice balmy like texture that saturate your lips in color with one stroke. Of the two, Strip Search is my favorite. It’s a beautiful soft warm peachy nude that looks flattering on my skin. Send Nudes is a true soft peachy nude that unfortunately made me look a bit washed out upon initial application. I was going to dismiss it and then realized I didn’t have any makeup on at the time. I would have to give it a second try.  The second time around, I liked it much better. Lashes were on, eyes were smoldering in deeper tones. For me, it is one of those shades that goes well with a smoky eye, neutral lip look. Lasting power was great! It lasted a good 6 hours with minimal fading with light snacks and drinking. Dom
