Summer vacation may be over for me, but my quest to achieve an all year glow doesn’t have to be. Today I will be sharing with you a collection that oozes endless summer vibes. The Rodin Olio Lusso Mermaid Collection is a collection of skin illuminators that helps you to achieve a radiant glow from head to toe. The line was created by runway and celebrity stylist, Linda Rodin. Like many creators and founders, she found that there was a lack of what she wanted and needed in the market and she sought to create natural and quality skincare products derived from essential oils. Her line revolves around powerhouse and essential omegas along with antioxidants are that are flower and plant based, never synthetic.

The Illuminating powder is described as a silky-smooth gel-powder illuminator that contains micro pearl pigments that help to capture and diffuse light. It feels so smooth to the touch, and I find that it delivers a beautiful champagne glow that can be layered for intensity. You can also use the their Kabuki brush to apply the highlighter all over the body, (shoulders, clavicle, etc). For the face, I prefer to use my fan brush. This highlighter is one of my favorite pieces from the collection.
The Mermaid Luxury Glow Body Oil is a tri-phase oil that that has a blend of sunflower, sweet almond oil, sea buckthorn oils in addition to Omegas 2, 6, 7 and 9. It has a fragrant sea kelp and samba scent that smells delightful! It also contains hyaluronic acid that helps to moisturize my skin and leaves it feeling so silky and smooth. I prefer to use it right after I shower. My skin feels and looks healthy and it truly feels every bit as luxurious as it looks!
Next up is their Luxury Illuminating Liquid This product is formulated with a blend of micr0-fine light reflecting optics. It’s such a beautiful illuminator that is very versatile. It feels weightless and a little can go a long way. You can use it alone, or layer it with your moisturizer and foundation. I love the dewy finish it imparts when mixed with a little bit of my YSL Touche Eclat Glow foundation. It’s equal parts glowy and luminous when mixed and gives me a radiant, healthy, complexion. It’s what I yearn for, especially during the summer months.

The Rodin Olio Lusso Mermaid Collection is one that will keep the endless summer vibes going all year long. I am deeply impressed with everything I’ve tried in the collection and my favs would have to be the lluminating powder and Body oil. Not only is the packaging and artwork for the collection exquisite, it’s the formulation of the precious oils infused into the formulation of the products that truly sets it apart. If you’re on the quest for radiant skin, glistening lips and glowing cheeks, this is a collection you should definitely look into.
