Feast your eyes on the latest limited edition release from Ciate London–their new Glitter Storm lipsticks.* They are absolutely stunning and mesmerizing to behold. The gorgeous line up of 3-dimensional shades coated in glittering pigments is unique and unlike any lip product I currently own, past or present. Trust me when I say these images cannot accurately capture how beautiful they are to behold–the reflective finish made it nearly impossible, but please take my word for it. The Glitter Storm lipsticks, now available at Sephora, are housed beautifully in a light pink glittery outer casing. They are described as a next-generation lipstick hybrid that combines star-like pigments with a full-color base for three-dimensional shine and shimmer. While the outer bullet is coated in glittering pigments the bullet itself has a reflective, holographic sheen to it (see images above) There are a total of 6 shades available:
Spark: Nude Peach
Topaz: Cool Soft Peach
Flash: Soft Berry Red
Apollo: Mauve Berry
Cosmic: Violet
Elektra-Electric Purple
You need not worry that they will feel gritty or chunky on the lips. The texture is super smooth and they yield excellent pigmentation. You can certainly achieve good opacity in one swipe, however, I find that they are buildable and also versatile. You can wear it alone, or use it as a lip topper over another lipstick shade. You can really customize the finish–either go all out and over-the-top or or make it more subtle. I initially did not know what to expect, and I am pleased to report that these were impressive.
