The Urban Decay Game of Thrones Collection *is the most exciting makeup collaboration to date, especially if you’re a Game of Thrones fan such as myself! It’s definitely a collector’s piece that you don’t want to miss. More images details and swatches of this collection linked here in my previous post. I will be picking up some more lipsticks as soon as they hit the Sephora site.
The Too Faced Natural Lust Palette *has an array earthy hues in both matte and metallic finishes. This blockbuster collection of 30 never-before-seen shades are exceptionally gorgeous and were buttery and pigmented to the touch. I am obsessed with Just Like That, a gorgeous golden copper shade. Priced at $59 for a whopping 30 shades, you get a lot of bang for your buck. Swatches below, including the bronzer duo swatches to the bottom far right.
Givenchy Teint Everwear Foundation & Concealer *-Both are described as medium to full base products with immense lasting power. I’ve had these both on heavy rotation for the past week and a half and I’m really impressed with the coverage. They immediately even out my skin tone, blur any imperfections and provide a beautiful, lightweight finish that looks natural and flawless. In fact, I wore it on Earth Day while doing a beach clean up and hours later it was still going strong with no touch ups needed. I love the medium to full coverage it imparts and another bonus is that it contains SPF 20. Although I don’t solely rely on SPF to come from my makeup, it’s nice to know there’s an extra layer of protection. Verdict–it’s a win.
Marc Jacobs Beauty Accomplice concealer-I purchased this on a whim while on a trip to NYC last month. It’s creamy, has a thicker consistency and does not feel drying whatsoever. It blended easily underneath my eyes and was perfect for spot touch ups on- the- go. Swatches below.
The NARS Orgasm Collection*-To celebrate 20 years of this iconic shade, NARS launched 4 gorgeous limited edition pieces in the most gorgeous Rose Gold packaging. Stay tuned for a full review with more detailed images and swatches. For now, I’d like to share swatches. I hope you will find these to be helpful as you start making your shopping list.
Sol De Janeiro Bum Bum Sol Oil-*I’m obsessed with this new launch. It’s an illuminating, non-greasy dry oil with SPF 30 sun protection. It feels so nourishing on the skin and gives a sun kissed sheen that reminds me of all the things I love about summer.
MY SEPHORA WISH LIST
Glow Recipe Pineapple C Bright Serum-*This new serum helps to treat dark spots and brighten skin. It’s formulated with a juicy blend of Vitamin C, Chamomile, pineapple juice, and hyaluronic acid. So far, I’ve noticed that my skin appears brighter and more even, and will report with my full review in a month.
Wander Beauty Lip Retreat Oil-* These recent discoveries are such a treat for the lips. It’s a luxurious lip-loving treatment oil with a shine of a gloss. Thanks to apricot kernel and avocado oil, it leaves my lips feeling deeply moisturized and healthy. The swatches below are for the shades Skinny Dip (nude) & Spa Day (strawberry pink) It looks like these haven’t launched on the Sephora site yet, but they likely will soon so keep your eyes peeled.
