Many beauty products come and go, especially now in the fast paced world of beauty. New beauty trends seemingly go hand- in -hand with new product launches and while some products may be enjoyed for a little while, they can be seemingly forgotten by season’s end. One product that has really withstood the test of time is the iconic NARS Orgasm blush. This peachy pink shade with a hint of golden shimmer has been around for 20 years, which is truly a testament to its popularity. The NARS Orgasm blush was one of the first high end blushes that I purchased years ago and it is still among one of my favorites. Today I bring you images, details, and swatches of the covetable 20th Anniversary Orgasm Collection*. First up is the NARS Orgasm Endless Palette. It features six multi-use cream shades for eyes, cheeks, and lips in a buildable formula with a luminous, shimmer finish. There are a total of six shades which complement each other beautifully:
- ORGASM ECSTASY Soft beige with gold pearl
- DEEP ORGASM Metallic mauve
- SUPER ORGASM Iridescent pink with gold shimmer
- DOUBLE ORGASM Iridescent pink-lilac with silver shimmer
- ORGASM FEVER Iridescent copper
- ORGASM Metallic rose gold
I found these to work best by applying with my fingers. They are creamy and soft to the touch and blended seamlessly on my skin. It provided the most beautiful and glowy, yet natural summery look. I also found the shadows to work beautifully on my eyes without creasing or smudging. I did use a primer underneath to ensure longevity, however. All the colors are so complementary and I found it easy to mix and match the shades. In terms of lasting power, it lasted all day. It did not feel sticky to the touch nor did the color fade. I was really impressed by this palette and to be honest, I wasn’t exactly sure whether or not I would like it since I’m not huge on cream products.
The Orgasm Liquid Highlighter is the star of this limited edition collection. You only need one drop of this highlighter to create an effortless, natural glow. It provides a beautiful dewy finish that looks so amazing on the skin. The formula is versatile and can be worn alone on the face or body, as well as mixed into foundation or moisturizer, which is a major plus. I would not sleep on this one!
The NARS Orgasm Jumbo Blush comes in the most beautiful pinky rose gold compact. This peachy pink shade with golden shimmer complements all skin tones so beautifully and is the perfect go-to blush for all seasons. This 2oth anniversary collection is definitely a collector’s piece. It’s won several accolades and is the number #1 selling blush in the US, need I say more?
Last but not least, we have the Orgasm Oil Infused Lip Tint. I also wanted to include the Orgasm Afterglow lipbalm since it is still available on the Sephora site. I am obsessed with the lip oil! It provides the most healthy peachy pink tint on my lips and feels so nourishing and hydrating. Two highlighted ingredients include raspberry seed oil which nourishes and softens lips and pomegranate extract which provides antioxidants and long-lasting hydration. The lip balm has been a staple in my makeup bag and provides a sheer, healthy flush of color on the lips. It’s perfect for everyday.
