The most instagrammable MAC Collection is slated to release June 6th online and at select stores. The MAC Electric Wonder Collection, featuring marbled pink & gold packaging is a limited edition summer collection with desert tones of pink, peach, and bronze hues. If you’ve been following me for a while, then you know I am #MACOBSESSED. My local MAC store had a preview event in early May and I could not pass up the opportunity to try out the products firsthand. MAC makeup artists were on hand and some bubbly was served. Champagne and makeup? Who could resist? Today I’m excited to share my picks from the MAC Electric Wonder Collection along with my review & swatches of positively everything.

The MAC Electric Wonder Collection in its entirety includes 19 pieces: five lipsticks, five lip glosses, two 12-pan palettes, a cheek palette, 2 brushes, 2 iridescent powders and 2 bronzers.

My MAC Electric Wonder picks that will be featured today include:
Natural Vice Eyeshadow Palette x 12 , $47
Ignite Wonder Face Palette, $42
Serenity Seeker Iridescent Powder , $35
Into Eternity Iridescent Powder, $35
Let’s Mesa Around Lipstick, $19.50
The Naturalist Lipstick, $19.50
126SES Split Fibre Large Face brush, $43

First up is the Ignite Wonder Face Palette. It’s a six pan palette containing shimmering hues of pink, bronze, and gold. Shade names and descriptions below:
- GIRL WONDER -Peachy pink
- SEVEN WONDERS -Rose gold
- WONDER YEARS -Warm berry pink
- WONDER WHO? -Soft champagne beige
- SOME KIND OF WONDERFUL -Champagne gold
- ANY WONDER -Bronze
I had my sights set on picking up this palette initially once preview images were released online. Once I got the chance to try it myself in store, I was sold. The palette is described as a cream-like powder formula that is packed with a special Pearl Powder Complex to deliver a natural radiance to skin. Fine pearlescent particles impart a luminous sheen, while shea butter imparts a creamy touch. The shades are beautiful for a glowy, bronzy summer look and so versatile. You can really mix and match the hues to customize your flush. They pick up beautifully with my large split fibre face brush and each shade can be built up to your desired intensity. It’s the star of the collection, in my humble opinion. The shades also seem like it would suit most, if not all skin tones.

Electric Wonder Natural Vice Eyeshadow Palette x12
The collection includes two limited edition 12 pan eyeshadow palettes: Desert Lighting and Natural Vice. I picked up the latter although initially I was going to pass since I have so many neutral palettes in my makeup stash. The Natural Vice palette contains 12 wearable shades in matte, satin, frost, and veluxe pearl shades. All shades are brand new with the exception of Cork, one of my all time favorite MAC shades. One stand out out shade in the palette is Diamond Butterfly. This frosted silver shade is so beautiful on the middle of my lids. What I like about this palette is that you get fun accents of gold and silver to add a bit of sparkle and glam to an otherwise mostly neutral palette.
- FAB ACCENT-soft nude (matte)
- PLEASING TO THE EYE- dirty mauve pink (matte)
- SUN TWEAKED-soft frosty pink (frost)
- DIAMOND BUTTERFLY -silver white shimmer (frost)
- VALLEY OF THE GODDESS-orange beige (matte)
- CORK- muted golden brown (satin)
- STRUCK GOLD- bright yellow gold (frost)
- DESERT ROSE-MANCE-warm golden peach (veluxe pearl)
- MAGMATIQUE- warm reddish brown (matte)
- NATURAL VICE- dark brown (matte)
- GO WILDER- Pearly red brown (veluxe Pearl)
- REBEL PEBBLE-cool deep muted brown (satin)

The collection includes 5 lipsticks and lip glasses and I picked up two shades from the collection: Let’s Mesa Around (left) and The Naturalist (right) Both shades are in the lustre formula, so they provide a sheer finish for a MLBB (my lips but better) look. Let’s Mesa around is a light pinky nude, while The Naturalist is more like a warm peachy nude. I wanted to love more of the lip colors from the collection since I adore the packaging but some of the lighter shades did not complement me.

Finally, I picked up 2 of the Iridescent face powders in Serenity Seeker and Into Eternity and one of the bronzers in Canyon Dreamin‘. The iridescent face powders are described as a finely milled pressed mixture of mica and pigments that gives skin a radiant sheen with a subtle glaze of color and intense pearl. They are designed to apply easily and uniformly and can be applied on bare skin or over foundation. They have a smooth, silky texture that blends beautifully. I love the design and look of it. Serenity Seeker is a warm gold, while Into Eternity is a rosy pink. I am obsessed with this compact. It’s so pretty!

I picked up the Next to Nothing Bronzer in Canyon Dreamin‘. It’s described as a lightweight bronzing powder with a silky-soft texture that features micro-light boosters. It gives a really soft-focused warmth that looks very natural on the skin. The powder is easy to apply and blends beautifully. The Split Fibre brush is so soft and apples all the face powders seamlessly. I do have the large brush from a previous collection and they perform uniformly well. I could not resist the matte marble packaging!

Bottom line, I am obsessed with this collection. I always get excited about MAC’s summer releases and this one did not disappoint. I find that the shades in this collection are truly wearable and there is truly something for everyone to enjoy and /or add to your makeup bag for summer. The stunning pink marbled packaging is truly one of a kind and would make a great collector’s piece.
