To celebrate NARS’ 25th year anniversary, NARS launched 72 new lipsticks in a stunning array of shades and finishes. I have been a long time fan of NARS and can still recall purchasing their 15th year Anniversary palette many moons ago! Twenty five years later, NARS is still taking the beauty world by storm. Sixty of the shades comes in the classic matte, white and black packaging and can be found currently at Sephora, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, and Bloomingdales while 12 of the original lipstick shades are in special red and white packaging and can be found on Narscosmetics.com or at their boutique locations.
Today I’m excited to share with you 31 of the 72 shades currently available with this new lipstick launch, in addition to one shade I purchased in store—–Chelsea Girls, which was an old time favorite. I loved the shade when it was in a lipstick pot and had to get my hands on it.
With this extensive shade range, you are bound to find something that you love. I decided to categorize the lipsticks in their respective categories: satin, matte, and sheer. Note: The lipstick descriptions will be in order from the lipsticks pictured from the top left to the bottom right. Additionally, I recently picked up the new NARS Makeup Your Mind Face palette, an Ulta exclusive with details and swatches to include in this post.
Let’s begin with the a description of the formula. The lipstick formula is newly revamped with a dynamic blend of passion fruit seed oil and moringa seed oil that helps to enhance color vibrancy. Additionally, the lipsticks feature a lightweight, sensorial texture that helps to provide smooth and even application. I have found that the sheer lipsticks have a balm like texture, while the matte finish has a soft touch texture that feels incredibly lightweight. How does in compare with the Audacious lipstick formula? I would say that the Audacious lipsticks are creamier and more opaque with a deeper color intensity. I couldn’t wait to play & swatch the shades that were kindly sent to me! There’s really a lot to love here.

I picked up this palette on a whim while shopping at Ulta. You get 8 eyeshadows, three blushes, and one bronzing powder in this palette. The gorgeous eyeshadows, coupled with the very wearable bronze & blush powder are a complete steal. Priced at $49, you get everything you need for a complete face. I love the shimmering tones in this palette. They are not too shimmery or over the top and have amazing lasting power.
