One palette that I has been heavy on my rotation this summer is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette, $42. I’m sure many of you have already seen images of it circulate many, many times. I initially had a draft of this blog post dated June 6th, and here we are now full swing in July. If you’ve read my earlier blog posts, you know that I am a fan of her products, particularly the Liquid Lipsticks and Glow Kits, reviewed here and here. The eyeshadow palettes are among my other ABH favorites, and this one is truly a stunner.
Alas, the end of June has arrived. I know this sounds so cliche, but this month really flew by quickly, maybe a little too quickly. The arrival of summer to me means bronzed skin and a luminous, glowing complexion and my beauty favorites this month certainly reflects that. Here’s a round up of the products I really loved this month.
Anastasia Beverly Hills launched some very exciting items for her summer collection including a new eyeshadow palette, a mini lip gloss set and another Glow Kit in Sun Dipped, which is the subject of today’s post.
Achieving the perfect glow is still very much on trend in 2016 as much as it was in 2015. One exciting new release from Anastasia Beverly Hills is her new line of Glow Kits. These two highlighting palettes come in two variations. That Gleam is aimed for consumers with more cooler skin tones while ‘That Glow’ is more suitable for warmer skin tones. Each palette contains four sizable highlighters that can be used in a myriad number of ways to achieve the ‘perfect glow.’
As I look back on the past twelve months, I think of all the gorgeous beauty items that made its way to my vanity and there was quite a lot! This has been an incredible year and I am so happy to have connected with people that share the same love of beauty. I decided to start this blog about five months ago as a creative outlet for my passion of all things beauty and I look forward to writing more, especially when inspired. I am still not quite the most technologically savvy person, and I am still learning along the way. I hope to continue to learn and grow as the new year progresses in every aspect of my life.
2016 is almost upon us! I love the idea of going full on glam every New Year’s Eve and today I am going to share some of the makeup that I will be using today. This year, I am going to glam it up with dramatic smoky hues with a bit of shimmer, along with full on lashes. I’m still deciding whether I want a bold red lip or a sultry nude one. We shall see. Scroll below for the items on my makeup menu tonight.
One shade that I love for Fall is the color berry. And when I want a long lasting, matte lip that will provide opaque coverage, I tend to reach for my liquid lipstains/lipsticks. It seems that… View Post
