A new addition to the Natasha Denona line launching tomorrow at Sephora and Beautylish is the Sunset Eyeshadow Palette, a gorgeous array of shadows aptly named and inspired by the colors of the sunset. Natasha Denona is an internationally acclaimed makeup artist who is well known for creating remarkably beautiful looks prominently seen on the covers of many of today’s magazines. I have been a fan of her line of eye shadows since my first introduction to her brand at IMATS, previously reviewed here.
Viseart is on a fire with their newly released Theory Palette additions! Not only did they release two new eyeshadow palettes, Nuance and Amethyst to add to their collection, TWO new Theory Cheek palettes in Enamored and Ablaze also make their debut, offering a well coordinated trio that consists of a blush, highlighter and bronzer. If you are unfamiliar with the brand, Viseart is a Parisian makeup brand that traces its beginnings to French Television and film. They are a high-performance line with formulas that harness the best of natural and organic resources with modern technology. The brand was conceived out of a shared passion for healthy products that go back to the roots of beauty, to naturally enhance the skin rather than aging the skin with harmful chemicals. You will be happy to hear that these products are not tested on animals, contain organic ingredients, and they are free of silicone, petrochemicals, and mineral oil. All products are individually hand made in Paris, making them very Parisian chic in every sense of the word. I am a huge fan of their products; you can find my previous reviews here, here, and here. Today I am happy to share images and swatches of my new Viseart Theory Palette additions in Nuance, Amethyst, Enamored and Ablaze.
New In: The Milk Makeup Eye Pigments.* It is officially described as a vivid, and highly pigmented cream eyeshadow in a portable tube that delivers bold color in one swipe that dries quickly without creasing. The brand, which is relatively new to the world of beauty prides it self on creating a multi-functional, high-tech, low maintenance line for the busy woman who needs less time getting ready and more time getting stuff done. I have recently reviewed their Blur Stick Primer, (reviewed here) and was very impressed. When this package arrived, I was so eager to pop open the lid and start swatching away. Today I will offer you a closer look at the eleven shades available that range from neutral to colorfully bold.
Smashbox Cosmetics released a collection of seven Cover Shot Eyeshadow Palettes* inspired by trends seen at the studio, ranging from matte, to smoky, to bold. These palettes are purse size and perfectly compact for travel and fits easily inside your makeup bag. They are small, yet mighty and certainly pack a punch! There are a total of 8 shades in each Cover Shot palette, with two larger base shades so you won’t run out of the basics before using all the accent colors.
Smashbox Cosmetics recently launched a collection of seven portable Cover Shot Eyeshadow palettes, with a variety of colors to choose from. Each palette is priced at $29 and they range from sophisticated, bold, and to metallic. I really did not need another palette, but the colors in the Ablaze Cover Shot Palette really spoke to me. I could not resist, and quickly placed an order online. Besides, I was able to apply my Sephora $25 appreciation gift card towards it. I’m happy to report that I’m so glad I did!.
Morphe Brushes is a brand that I became acquainted with through my purchase of the limited edition and hugely popular Jaclyn Hill palette. I can recall how fast the palette sold out online and how covetable it was. I have been a fan of their brand since. They have an impressive assortment of both brushes and makeup that are of great quality at a very affordable price point. Their latest launch, the Limited Edition Morphe Copper Spice & Bronzed Mocha palettes has become another huge hit. It sold out quickly online the day of its launch, but stay tuned! According to the brand, a restock will take place due to popular demand. I decided to make a trip to the store since I was not able to purchase it online. Today I will be sharing photos, swatches and my first impressions of the Copper Spice or 25A palette. Kindly scroll below for details and swatches.
I can’t believe that it’s December already. Things are really starting to move at a more frenzied pace with all that this busy time of the year brings. There are so many things I want to review, and time has only been the only limitation. I do have a three week break on the horizon so I hope too be able to write more. With that being said, today I bring you swatches and my first impressions of the Too Faced White Chocolate Chip Palette. The palette was an online exclusive released on Cyber Monday at Sephora and I ordered it during the early access link I received for VIB Rouge cardholders. I had a feeling that it would sell out quickly, and sure enough it did. It’s an adorable extension of their popular Chocolate Bar palettes. Here, we have the White Chocolate Chip palette, which is a travel size companion that fits perfectly in the palm of your hand.
Benefit Cosmetics introduces two new kits as an extension of their popular They’re Real range of products. One palette that I has been heavy on my rotation this summer is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette, $42. I’m sure many of you have already seen images of it circulate many, many times. I initially had a draft of this blog post dated June 6th, and here we are now full swing in July. If you’ve read my earlier blog posts, you know that I am a fan of her products, particularly the Liquid Lipsticks and Glow Kits, reviewed here and here. The eyeshadow palettes are among my other ABH favorites, and this one is truly a stunner.
Alas, the end of June has arrived. I know this sounds so cliche, but this month really flew by quickly, maybe a little too quickly. The arrival of summer to me means bronzed skin and a luminous, glowing complexion and my beauty favorites this month certainly reflects that. Here’s a round up of the products I really loved this month.
