A new addition to the Natasha Denona line launching tomorrow at Sephora and Beautylish is the Sunset Eyeshadow Palette, a gorgeous array of shadows aptly named and inspired by the colors of the sunset. Natasha Denona is an internationally acclaimed makeup artist who is well known for creating remarkably beautiful looks prominently seen on the covers of many of today’s magazines. I have been a fan of her line of eye shadows since my first introduction to her brand at IMATS, previously reviewed here.
The International Makeup Artist Trade Show, better known as IMATS recently wrapped up this weekend in Pasadena, California. I had the pleasure of attending on Saturday. Shortly, I will be sharing with you a post brimming with images from the event. The event is open to both makeup professionals as well as students and makeup enthusiasts from all over. Those in attendance not only had the opportunity to fill their kit with essentials at a generously discounted rate, but they also had the opportunity to explore and learn from business forums and keynotes. This was my fifth time attending the show, and I truly had an amazing time. Kindly scroll below for more images and details.
Hello everyone! It’s that time of year again. Sephora’s annual VIB Rouge Sale starts tomorrow from November 4-7th. Early access is granted to VIB Rouge members–members at the highest tier–so they can shop coveted items first. This highly anticipated event is an opportunity to stock up on your beauty favorites or finally purchase the high end beauty products you’ve been eyeing for months while saving money in the process. This is also the perfect opportunity to purchase coveted gifts sets that are limited edition and typically sell out fast. Today I would like to share the items that are currently on my VIB Sale wish list. Since I was able to purchase many items from the Employee Appreciation Sale last month, my list is rather small. I will also be sharing what I purchased from the Sephora Friends and Family Sale last month as well.
Though Summer is in full swing, Fall collections are already surfacing at beauty retail counters. The beauty of YSL Limited Edition pieces gets me almost every time. I often find that my resistance is futile, and today’s blog post will feature a new addition from Yves Saint Laurent Beauty’s Fall 2016 Collection: the stunning Scandal Couture Palette. It’s packed with rich, fall ready colors enclosed in opulent limited edition packaging, no less.
The Dior Spring 2016 collection was recently released and though I tried to resist, my efforts were futile. The collection, which features a floral motif is absolutely gorgeous. Though I wanted it all, I only picked up two items: The Glowing Gardens Illuminating Powder in Glowing Pink and Glowing Nude. I must admit that I have been on a bit of a highlighting craze. The development of these powders were inspired from the technique of strobing and features extremely fine illuminating pigments that offer an all over radiance. Each compact has a silver quilted design that opens to a mirror inside. It also includes a mini kabuki brush for application.
It’s finally here! I have been excitedly anticipating the launch of Anastasia Beverly Hill’s Limited Edition Illuminators ever since I saw a sneak peak of it posted on Instagram. Though she first gained notoriety and… View Post
