If you are not familiar with the Viva Glam campaign, every cent from the selling price of M·A·C VIVA GLAM Lipstick and Lipglass goes towards helping women, men and children living with and affected by HIV/AIDS. It’s a great cause, and MAC has since raised over 400 million dollars to date! There have been many collaborations with well known celebrities over the years, and I was truly excited about this launch. I am a fan of Taraji’s work–Empire fans, anyone? I truly think the shade in this latest launch is universally flattering and could work for just about everyone.

Smashbox Cosmetics recently launched a collection of seven portable Cover Shot Eyeshadow palettes, with a variety of colors to choose from. Each palette is priced at $29 and they range from sophisticated, bold, and to metallic. I really did not need another palette, but the colors in the Ablaze Cover Shot Palette really spoke to me. I could not resist, and quickly placed an order online. Besides, I was able to apply my Sephora $25 appreciation gift card towards it. I’m happy to report that I’m so glad I did!.

I can recall how fast the palette sold out online and how covetable it was. I have been a fan of their brand since. They have an impressive assortment of both brushes and makeup that are of great quality at a very affordable price point. Their latest launch, the Limited Edition Morphe Copper Spice & Bronzed Mocha palettes has become another huge hit. It sold out quickly online the day of its launch, but stay tuned!
