It’s almost Cyber Monday! There seems to be an overwhelming amount of beauty offers that awaits. It seems the minute I check my email for the latest update, there’s a new one awaiting in my inbox. I think I will have to exercise self-restraint and self- discipline as this is not good for my wallet. Not surprisingly, some beauty retailers are releasing their Cyber Monday deals a tad early. Today’s post will feature the exciting new Cyber Monday exclusives Sephora just dropped! At the time of this post, many of these items are currently only VIB Rouge First Access exclusives while it will go live starting tomorrow for everyone else. Kindly scroll below for details.
One thing that I look forward to every holiday season is Tarte’s limited edition blush palette. I pick one up every year, because it’s such an incredible value. You can see previous releases in a blog post I wrote here. This year’s limited edition palette is called the Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush Color Wheel. It retails for $44 USD and is a double-sided cheek palette that features 10 blush and highlight shades. All the limited edition holiday blush palettes they’ve released to date only feature 5 pans of blush and or highlighter so I’m thrilled that this year’s edition features 10 shades in cute art deco print packaging which is part of their Works of Tarte holiday collection.
The Tarte Kiss Bliss Tarteist Creamy Matte Lip Paint & Crayon Set $46, is now available online and in stores. I picked this set up in store and today’s post will feature details, images, and swatches of this limited edition set that is part of Tarte Cosmetics’ Holiday Collection for 2016. If you are interested in reading my full review of the lip paints from a previous post first, you can find it here. Otherwise, please kindly scroll below.
Creamy. Velvety. Pigmented. These are the words I would use to describe Tarte Cosmetics’ Tarteist Lip Paints. My obsession with liquid lipstick formulas is still going strong. I like the longevity and color saturation they provide and today I would like to share my thoughts and review on two colors I recently purchased at IMATS, Namaste and Love Spell.
Today I’d like to share another item that I picked up from IMATS LA this past weekend which is a new highlighter palette that is slated to release very soon. The palette was available in limited quantities and after swatching it at the show, I knew I had to have it! The highlighter palette will be part of items released from their Rainforest of the Sea collection. I spoke to a knowledgeable Tarte cosmetics staff member at IMATS who described the products as being water infused and containing Tarte’s antioxidant Rainforest of the Sea complex.
IMATS LA wrapped up this weekend in Pasadena, CA. I attended on the final day which was Sunday, January 17th. My best friend purchased tickets for me as a birthday gift last fall and needless to say, I was thrilled! There were so many different vendors that the booths were split into two different halls. The venue was packed as beauty enthusiasts from all over convened upon the Pasadena Convention Center to happily haul their hearts out. Amidst the long lines and crowd, I managed to haul home some exciting new releases that I will follow up with blog posts later. It was exciting to see all the major makeup brands in one spot. This is open for anyone attend, and is not limited to just makeup artists or beauty professionals, so if you have an opportunity to attend an IMATS event in a city nearby in the future, I would highly recommend it.
