Elizabeth and James Fine Fragrance Dry Shampoo

I’ve always found scents to be fascinating. I love the way a scent can evoke such vivid memories like the smell of freshly cut grass, or the crisp, cool air after a rainfall. Now that the holidays are upon us, I love the aroma of freshly baked treats and the festive, fragrant scents that come along with it. In terms of the scents I personally use,  I like to wear more light airy, floral scents in the summer and more warm, intense scents in the Fall. Elizabeth and James’ recently launched their first Fine Fragrance Dry Shampoo* and now I can keep my hair feeling refreshed, full bodied, and smelling good through out the day. Both scents embody a sense of duality; Nirvana White is a lighter, more airy scent, while Nirvana Black is warm, rich and exquisitely sensual. They are distinctly different, yet both are intoxicating scents in their own right.

I am a fan of the Elizabeth and James Nirvana scents and I am pleased that they smell exactly the same as what’s inside the fragrance bottle. Now that fall is upon us, I am drawn to more warmer scents and I’ve been using the Nirvana Black Dry Shampoo in between washes. The spray top bottle makes it easy to dispense the desired amount. I first shake the bottle, then hold it about 6-8 inches before directing the product towards my roots. It does not leave a white caste on my medium brown hair nor does it leave a residue behind. I use my fingers to evenly distribute and massage the product into my hair. It helps to absorb oil, provide my hair texture and volume where I need it most, and the scent deliciously lingers through out the day. I’ve received compliments when wearing it in the form many “What are you wearing?— it smells good” types of questions. I am happy to add this to my hair care routine and would highly recommend it, especially if you want to keep your tresses feeling fresh and fragrant.

Thank you for stopping by today.
