All Access to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is finally here! Today I wanted to do a quick run down of my beauty picks and recommendations. There were many Beauty Exclusives that caught my attention priced at a great value with immense savings. These Beauty Exclusives will go fast, so I would recommend that you pay a visit to your local Nordstrom or make your purchases online promptly before they run out.
My first pick is the Diptyque 5 piece Candle Set, $65. This set comes with a mini set of 5 of their best selling candles. Among my favorites included are Baies and Roses. They smell so incredible and the scent fills up the room. This would be a great way for you to try out the scents to see which one you like best before purchasing its full size counterpart at a later time. The empty candle jars can also be used to store some of your beauty tools and samples which is another plus.
My next recommendation is the MAC Look in a Box Face Kits, more images and swatches reviewed here. There are five sets available. Each MAC Look in a Box Face Kit is priced at $39.50 with a retail value of $71.50. There is a range of colors to suit every style and makeup preference. Another great find is the Sigma Power Pair Set, $34.50. This two piece set includes the brand’s best-selling F80 Flat Kabuki Brush along with their cleaning mat that has an innovative design with seven patented textures to wash both eye and face brushes. It also features suction cups on the backside to secure the mat in place. I love the cleaning glove, which cuts down on cleaning time and I already own the Flat Kabuki Brush which is so well made and helps to blend my foundation seamlessly. I would highly recommend you try this as it has a full retail value of $49.
My next pick is Charlotte Tilbury’s Instant Beauty Palette, $75 – The Dolce Vita Look’ 5-Minute Face On the Go. I did not purchase a previous release of the palette because the shades were too light for my medium golden skin tone, but these shades are perfect. It contains three eyeshadows, 2 blushes, and a highlight and bronzer as well as a travel sized legendary mascara, everything you need to create a look on the go. This palette also includes a sizable mirror and is perfect for travel. I can’t wait to start playing with it.
Last but not least, is the Nordstrom Exclusive MAC Cosmetics C’est Chic Eyeshadow Palette, $65. This well edited palette is a combination of beloved and new matte shades featuring soft sheer neutrals mixed with deep rich browns. I personally love matte eyeshadow finishes so I would highly recommend this to those matte eyeshadow lovers out there.
