Beach Bag Essentials for Skin, Hair, & Body

I’ve been desperately trying to hold onto summer now that a new school year is fast approaching, which means an excursion to the beach whenever possible and enjoying all things summer. The most difficult task of the summer? Fitting all of my beauty essentials into my beach bag, of course. In an earlier blog post, I shared my summer beauty picks in the makeup category, and today I’d like to share my beach bag essentials for my skin, hair and body.  These are all summer beauty bits I adore and I have been using quite a bit lately. These products focus on not only hydrating and protecting my skin and lips, but also on helping to keep my hair tamed and frizz free. Kindly scroll below for the details.

The Ogx Moroccan Sea Salt Spray was a staple item for me while on vacation this summer in Cabo.

E Salon Sleek Dreams Smoothing Balm *, $14

This concentrated gel -cream has been wonderful in helping to keep frizziness at bay. I use a dime- sized amount on my  hair before blow drying or flat ironing. It leaves my hair feeling sleek and soft, thanks to the infusion of Marula and Pequi Oil, which help to soften and add shine to my hair in addition to keeping it healthy with its antioxidant properties.

Ogx Moroccan Sea Salt Spray*, $8.

When I want to create soft beach waves and easy, breezy beach waves, I use one of my long favorites- the Moroccan Sea Salt Spray by Ogx. It’s a sea salt mist and oil in one. My hair doesn’t feel greasy nor weighed down, and the infusion of Argan oil helps to keep my strands feeling soft and conditioned. You can read my full review here.

Olivia Garden On-The-Go Smooth & Detangle Brush*, $17

This is the perfect accessory for a quick hair refresh. The On-the-Go folding brush by Olivia Garden has a curved design that glides easily over my scalp and helps to also detangle my hair when it’s wet. It even comes with a built in touch up mirror located on the handle of the brush for convenience. I took the brush with me on a recent day excursion to Malibu. It is such a nifty too that I plan on using all year round.

Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess fragrance* , $65

One amazing summer scent that I’ve been recently loving is Estee Lauder’s Bronze Goddess. It contains a sweet concoction of Bergamot, warm Amber, Tiare Flower and Vanilla combined with delicious creamy Coconut. It’s soft and subtle and smells absolutely divine.

ELF Cosmetics Lip Exfoliator*, $3

To keep my lips nourished and smooth, I use ELF Cosmetics’ lip exfoliator. It gently exfoliates my lips to remove dry, chapped lips and is the perfect way to prep my lips before wearing long lasting lip stains. It has a sweet, sugary texture that is pleasant and a delight to use. Another added benefit is that it is enriched with Vitamin E, Shea Butter, and avocado and jojoba oils to nourish and protect.

Giorgio Armani Maestro UV*, $65

This primer boasts an SPF of 50. It is lightweight, absorbs easily and is the perfect base before foundation. On my makeup free days, I like wearing the primer alone. You can find my full review here.

Supergoop Sun Defying Sunscreen Oil*, $34

Last but not least,  my favorite sunscreen that I would wholeheartedly recommend you check out is Supergoops’s Sunscreen oil. It has a non greasy formula that absorbs nicely into the skin. It also has superior antioxidant protection and contains tototrienals, potent antioxidants that are 60x more powerful than Vitamin E, helping to neutralize free radical damage. You can find my full review here.

What are some of your must have essentials for summer? I’d love to read about them in the comment section below. I hope you enjoyed my Beach Bag Essentials for summer.

Thank you for stopping by today.
