Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear Camouflage Corrector Review

Lancome recently launched their Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Camouflage Correctors*, $31 to address various complexion concerns. With new cover and correct technology, the correctors claim to provide the highest coverage from concentrated pigments and a breakthrough formula that feels like second skin that won’t cake or crease and is developed for all skin types.

Shade Descriptions:

Green: Neutralizes redness for light to medium skin tones

Yellow: Brightens dullness for light to medium skin tones, minimizes dark spots and circles for fair complexions

Lavender: Brightens sallowness for light to medium skin tones

Peach: Minimizes dark spots, dark circles, and acne scars for medium skin tones

Orange/ Red: Minimizes dark spots, dark circles, and acne scars for medium skin tones

I find the correctors to be ultra pigmented and creamy. A little truly goes a long way. It comes in a squeeze tube that I find easy to apply by squeezing a tiny amount on my finger and then applying it directly onto my skin. I use the peach shade to help cover my dark circles. It blends seamlessly around the delicate eye area and does not crease through out the day. I do set my eyes with my Laura Mercier Under Eye Brightening Powder as a final touch. With the Lavender shade I use it sparingly to brighten my complexion down the center of my nose, the center or my forehead and above my cupid’s bow. I find that the formula is consistent–ultra pigmented, lightweight, yet buildable.  It blends out beautifully allowing for a very smooth natural-looking application.

The Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear Camouflage Correctors are priced at $31 and are available at Sephora, Nordstrom’s, and the official Lancome website, direct link here. (Not affiliated) It may also be available at counters where Lancome is sold.
